hey ed,
it seems as though you are always getting hate mail for something, but i just wanted to reassure you, re: your choice in birth control, that you are not the only married couple relying on the old fashioned rubber.
my husband and i have been married for going on 4 years now and have sucessfully thwarted nature by using condoms, and for much similar reasons you cited. the birth control pill makes me insane and fat and i hate it.
it seems it hasn’t been improved upon much since it was invented, and i refuse to be on it. we don’t plan on ever having babies, but vasectomies are just so final. there is nothing wrong with condoms and just wanted u to know that you and your wife are not alone. not that it is mine or anyone elses business, but since you published it, just thought i’d throw that out there.

I’m not sure that your positive experience with vasectomies necessarily proves that I am “wrong on the vasectomy.” The point of my article was really that what works for some people doesn’t necessarily work for others and to be snobbish about whichever birth control method you use is, well, snobbery.
For me, I don’t care how quick/easy/painless a vasectomy is, I don’t want to mess around with that area of my body if not necessary.

Hi ed, you are wrong on the vasectomy; I had the “oriental method” years ago which was (in contrast to what my stupid brother got) like an arthroscopic procedure.

Gee, you are stuck. Trojans? There is something (pardon the pun) tasteless about them. Didn’t you know many females do not enjoy the tastelessness Trojans offer? If you research a bit, you’ll find the aroma of chocolate, vanilla (wouldn’t you know, they call it French vanilla?), pineapple, banana, cherry, raspberry, and others as well, which can also be a taste of the exotic are available in condoms.
The mere mention of them gives rise to enjoyment.
How about trying these for an “after” aroma which can make a room fill with pleasure, and certainly not the musky aroma of rutting buffalo.

I’ve finally figured out why this Ed Decker guy is always so angry. He lacks feeling in his weiner. Anyone who thinks that sex with a condom is as good as sex minus a condom has a numb pecker. Only communists like sex with condoms more than sex without condoms. USA!!!! USA!!!! USA!!!!

The pill was a great idea about 30 years ago. That is until women started hurdling themselves off buildings and threatening their boyfriends with frying pans – then only to find solace in popping anti-depressants. Unfortunately a lot of women take the pill and react quite strongly against it, but fail to realize the source of their anger/frustration/hatred towards society*. Anyway, it’s good to hear there are men out there willing to give a little sensation for the sanctity of their lover.
*yes I used to take the pill. Yes, I felt like this. No I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
